Fablab access
The access to the Fablab may be granted in different ways:

UniFR employees: the access will be granted on your campus card upon request to the Fablab managers

UniFR students part of a course hosted at the Fablab (e.g. robotics): the access will be granted on your campus card through your lecturer at the beginning of the semester. Note that this process may take up to 2 weeks.

All other users: if you want to use the FabLab for a project outside the scope of a course,e you can request an access card by
- filling in the form, printing and signing it
- bringing the signed form to the DIUF secretary office PER21 C402 with an ID and a caution of exactly 50.- in cash (no change, no card, no twint)
- receiving in exchange an access card to be returned at the end of your booking
- returning the card at the secretary office to get your caution refunded.
During the time that you are in possession of the access card, you are responsible for its potential misuse. Make sure you report any loss or theft ASAP or at the latest within 24h
The DIUF secretary is generally open during office hours (might be subject to variations due to staff holidays)
